Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the control you have. The short version: your career data is yours, we don't use it to train AI models, and you can export or delete it whenever you want.

1.What we collect

We collect what we need to run your job search and nothing gratuitous.

  • Account details: email and authentication identifiers.
  • Career data you provide: your résumé, profile, preferences and answers.
  • Application activity: the jobs matched, applications prepared and submitted, and their outcomes.
  • Product usage and diagnostics, with personal data redacted from telemetry.

2.How we use it

We use your data to match you with jobs, prepare tailored applications you approve, track outcomes, and improve your experience within your account.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your résumé or career content to train foundation AI models.

3.AI processing

Matching and document preparation involve AI processing of your verified career data. You consent to this when you create an account, and you can withdraw AI-processing consent at any time — doing so pauses the agent, since it has nothing it's allowed to act on without it.

4.How we protect it

Your data is treated as sensitive by default.

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Résumés and documents live in private storage, reachable only through short-lived signed links.
  • Access is scoped to your account; support access to a specific account is elevated and audited.
  • Sensitive answers are never displayed to support and never inferred by AI.

5.Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run AmazApply (for example, cloud hosting and payment processing), and with employers or their application systems when you submit an application. We don't share your data for advertising.

6.Your controls

From Settings → Privacy & data you can:

  • Export a full snapshot of your data.
  • Delete individual documents, your applications, your profile, or your entire account.
  • Manage consent for AI processing, marketing and analytics.

7.Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and according to your retention settings. When you delete your account, we remove your records and best-effort delete your stored files.
