Does AmazApply apply to jobs without asking me?

Accepted Answer

Only if you turn that on. Every account starts in Review mode, where nothing is submitted until you approve it. Hybrid mode lets strong, high-confidence matches move ahead on their own, and Auto mode must be explicitly enabled. You can pause the agent at any time.

What's the difference between Review, Hybrid and Auto?

In Review, the agent prepares everything and you approve each submission. In Hybrid, matches above your score and confidence thresholds with no hard blockers proceed automatically; everything else waits for you. In Auto, any application meeting your rules proceeds. We never silently move you to more automation.

Question 3

Why did the agent pause?

Accepted Answer

It always tells you. Every waiting or paused state carries a reason, a plain-language explanation, a recommended action, and whether it clears on its own — for example out of matches, daily limit reached, credits exhausted, or an action needed from you.

Question 4

Can I change my rules later?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the Agent controls page. Broadening your criteria shows an estimate of the change in eligible roles before you save, and changing modes never cancels an application you've already approved.

How is the match score calculated?

Deterministic eligibility checks run first, so hard blockers (like a required license) always win. Then requirement-by-requirement matching, semantic similarity and your preferences are combined with published weights. The AI can explain the score, but it can't quietly change it.

Question 6

Will AmazApply make up experience to get me past filters?

Accepted Answer

No. Every line in a tailored résumé or cover letter is linked to a fact you verified in your career profile. If there's no evidence for a claim, AmazApply doesn't write it — and our release process fails if generated documents contain unsupported qualifications.

Question 7

What happens with demographic or eligibility questions?

They're never inferred. Demographic questions use only the answer you explicitly chose — including ‘decline to self-identify’. Eligibility facts like work authorization, sponsorship, clearance and salary come only from you, never from a guess.

What counts as an application credit?

Accepted Answer

Only applications that are submitted and confirmed. Failed, unsupported, duplicate and unconfirmed attempts never use a credit.

Is résumé tailoring an extra cost?

Accepted Answer

No. Tailored résumés and cover letters are included with every automation plan. We don't charge a separate subscription for them.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage or cancel your plan from Billing in one click. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Do unused credits roll over?

Accepted Answer

On the quarterly Auto plan, credits roll over while your subscription stays active. Monthly plan allowances reset each period.

Who can see my résumé and answers?

Accepted Answer

Your data is scoped to you. Support can only view a specific account with an elevated, audited role, and answers to sensitive questions are never displayed even then. Files live in private storage reachable only through short-lived signed links.

Can I export or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Anytime, from Settings → Privacy & data. Export a full snapshot, or delete individual documents, your applications, your profile, or your entire account. Deletion cascades and removes your stored files.
