The truth layer: why AmazApply won't lie on your résumé
Every generated line maps back to a fact you verified. Here's how — and why it matters.
It's tempting for an AI writing tool to embellish. A slightly bigger number, a title bumped up a level, a tool you 'basically' used — small lies that sail past a keyword filter. They also blow up in an interview, and they're not who you are.
AmazApply enforces a truth layer: every claim in a generated résumé or cover letter must map to a specific, verified fact in your profile. Numbers, employers, degrees, credentials and skills in a line have to appear in that evidence, or the line is removed. Our release process fails if generated documents contain unsupported qualifications.
Tailoring, done right, is about emphasis — reordering, sharpening and surfacing the true things that matter most for this role. That's genuinely powerful. Inventing experience isn't tailoring; it's a liability. We only do the first one.
